It was this man......i only met him once............we all had dinner with the master and went to a martial arts exhibition off base..............in an Okinawan gym......they were very fast............i remember seeing an article from a paper in the USA.....on how the gentle, 10th degree master was a real class act and someone to look up to.........for his honor and respect.....

The history behind all of it was really interesting to me.........the Chinese/Japanese connection........and where certain styles originated from and/or were influenced from.........................Americans should take note of these things.........have respect for elders................that there is more to life than money, sports.........fame, and "cool" things................

It was in that very dojo that i got my green belt......i wanted to continue training........but as i joined the US Marines to go to college and serve my country a little................i decided to take college courses on base................doing both was too much...........the Marines work a person too hard.......taking on too much is not good.............
