What time does the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight start on Saturday and what channel can I watch it on?
Manny Pacquiao v Floyd Mayweather is boxing's biggest fight of the year

When is the big fight?

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will meet at last on Saturday May 2 in Las Vegas - the home of boxing. Doors will open at the venue at 2pm local time, with the first fight scheduled at 3pm and the main event five hours later at around 8pm.
Las Vegas is eight hours behind the United Kingdom which means Mayweather vs Pacquiao will not begin in this country until around 4am on Sunday at UK time.
NB: Boxing matches have been known to start later than advertised. Frequently.

How can I watch it?

The fight is available through pay-per-view on Sky Sports at a cost of £19.95. Coverage begins at midnight on Sunday 3 May. The event can be ordered with a Sky remote, online or on the phone.
From midnight on Friday May 1 until 7.00am on Sunday May 3, the price for booking over the phone will rise by £5.

What are they saying?

The boxers spoke on Wednesday evening in their final pre-fight press conference.
Manny Pacquiao ploughed a familiar furrow by invoking his faith:
QuoteEverything I have accomplished, God has given me this strength. I used to sleep in the street, hungry, and I cannot imagine that the Lord raised me to this level of life.
Floyd Mayweather also attempted to stay humble:
Quote(It is) the biggest fight in boxing history and I'm a part of it so that's a great thing. I'm just truly, truly blessed to be where I'm at. I feel good, I feel strong and I'll see you guys Saturday. You guys came out here to see excitement, to see a great event and I think that's what both competitors bring to the table - excitement.
Meanwhile Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach casted doubt over whether Mayweather would show up:
QuoteI wonder if he's going to show up. At the press conference in Los Angeles, I said we were going to kick his ass and I didn't get a response. I don't think any fighter is afraid. I think he was forced into this fight. I don't think he wants to fight this fight. He didn't get to pick his opponent.
