I did solve it...........the aliens killed him.........why...........?  Look at his poems.........novels.......his interests..........he started studying ancient languages at UVA in Charlotesville, VA...............he came up with Ober's paradox on his own................astronomy......he wrote a poem named El Dorado...........dead men don't talk.........nor do they investigate any farther...........
