Film adaptation[edit]

On June 26, 2015, DreamWorks announced plans for a film adaptation of Micro. Frank Marshall will produce the film, while Sherri Crichton and Laurent Bouzereau will act as executive producers.^[4] Steven Spielberg is developing the film with DreamWorks.^[5]
