Of course........u use some type of math.........and a method...............whether a survey........an experiment..........an analysis...............etc.........to check it.....................what the key is is the checking..........u don't assume........u take a guess.........an educated guess.......then u check to see if your guess was true or not..................also.......as in law.........by theory.....u can never be 100% correct...........guilty beyond a reasonable doubt..........whoever did the crime, did the crime.........but the judge, jurors, etc................were not there..............so u can only lend weight................as in science........so if u become too enamored with your ideas.............that itself is going against the grain of what science really is...........which is a means of investigation...........u look, u check......
