A mountain range would interfere with artillery...........winds........like atop Mt Everest..................of course there are winds out there............but they know weather patterns........................with weather satellites.................and after so many commercial planes take off..............ALSO from Hawaii bound for China.............they know................typical weather patterns.............what is the best time, worst time, etc................................you can see the skyscrapers of San Fran from the Pacific ocean..........for example...........................the same way with Boston and NYC from the Atlantic ocean.............a direct shot..............an open target.........
