We would also ride our bikes to school.................and/or walk from the brown house.............which my grandparents owned on Baltimore Ave.................................my mother rented the brown house......................for a brief period and all 3 of us lived there.............she worked for NASA in Greenbelt, Md at some point.....................for a while it was back and forth between our grandparents and mother.........................



My brother.........David Kellie and I would walk here from the Chinese house...............which is close to Silver Lake, just like the junior high......................in fact.............I took kindergarten through the 8th grade here............I only lived like 3 years or so in California.............my mother got a full divorce and had full custody of me and Dave.................................this was like in 1974 or so....
