Of DC's teams......the Redskins have the most championships of the a team of the four major sports........3.............baseball......once....in 1924.......basketball......once in 1977..............but never in the NHL.....and b/c the super bowl......the top game of the NFL.....is in a location that was already established before the season.......u might luck out if it is in your city if you make the super bowl......DC fans......have only seen two finals......where we won......in 1924 and 1977...............b/c the Redskins played in another city.........the Capitals can make it 3 this year.......
