Dunbar high school in NW wash dc is named for this man.................................that high school, along 1st st. NW.............is the M st. school............they just changed the name and location...........it was the 1st all black high school in the USA......................after the US civil war and the creation of the freeman's bureau.............Wash DC became site central for blacks across the USA..............Tupac Shakur was born in NYC, NY...............but he went to high school in Baltimore, MD..........at Dunbar high.................................

Then he moved to the Oakland, CA area..........................
