Accounting only for natural forces.........for the river of the Potomac to enter the Tidal basin.......i.e......go South.................the natural flow of the river.....................i said right before.......in the pic............................so again..............if i am water.........in the Potomac.....i start in Wv..........go south..................turn left into the Tidal basin........by entering an inlet.............at an almost 90 degree angle...............maybe even 90..........then go north.......








Also......................if u look at just a picture of it.........throw out everything i mentioned......knowing..........that the water on the left hand of this pic........is the Potomac......which flows south..........in the pic...............top to bottom.............the water somehow would need to take a 90 degree turn.................to the east................to the right and the basin...............by going into a small inlet.....................................then work both east and north............................it doesn't anyways...............and wouldn't anyways.......unless pumped.................pretty much directly north................fill the basin.........and head south................by number 8 here...........into the Wash channel................in the very right hand corner...............for all that to happen..............it would take pumps................................some man made force..............

But.......none of that is true...............the flow of water inside the basin is at #5 in the below.......the bridge near the FDR memorial..............the Potomac river side.......

Then, what is happening..................................if u go to #8 in this pic...........there are 3 bridges......the 14th st bridge...........the one u walk to go from near the Holocaust museum to the Jeff memorial and one in between...............with concrete ground level opening up in my crude drawing............which leads me to the following..............Wash Channel is from a below the ground source...................
