Also........many people don't know..........that while both captains.......Lewis and Clark......the two leaders..............did the majority of note taking...........Jefferson had all of them take notes........including the Indian girl.........who was only like 13..........and York........a black man..........i think Jefferson specifically wanted a black man to go with them..............why? I think he wanted to see the reaction pf the tribes of the NW.......why? I think blacks were already here...........before Columbus.............mainly in the South...................modern day LA..........Florida...........etc........and Jefferson wanted to see how far north the ancient African kingdoms got................they say........that many of the Indians reacted surprised at seeing York........................
