I think the American Illuminati offered Watergate as a chance for the man to keep his life............they tried to oust JFK with the bay of Pigs..........when that didn't work........they killed him............they probably just invented something that would get him impeached........told him to play along...........or else die...............then bow out "honorably" before an impeachment vote was even taken..........
