Russia.......St Pete.........in the time of the csars...........I remember in JMU discussing why Leo Tol decided to name his novel.......Anna Karenina.........b/c Levin was the main character...........Levin was a farmer married to a very pretty ice skater..............Kitty...........maybe Kitty Pride and Wolverine..........are based off the marriage of Levin and Kitty...........the book has Levin in it more than any other character.................a very strong Russian man..........former gymnatist.........the reason we thought Leo T.........might have named it Anna K........was b/c Anna K commits suicide..........after being chased by so many freaking men.........she puts her head on a train track..........and lets the train kill her.......so the book is a tragedy...........
