That is like.........................5/4 from Euler's product........with a s of 1........................and 14i.........because one circle is in the center.................the other 4 are are around it...............5/4 can also be written as 1 + 1/4.................like 14i........

The equation for the r = 1/2 circle..........centered at the origin is x squared + y squared = 1/4.............it is somewhat counterintuitive when dealing with fractions...................1/2 + 1/2 = 1..........two halves make a whole......but when multiplied.........the result is a smaller number.........1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4.....................................the square root of 1/4 is 1/2...............like 14i...................but numerically.....................1/2 is a bigger number........1/2 = 0.5...............while 1/4 is 0.25..........a square root is usually a smaller number than the one u are taking the square root..........like.....the square root of 9 is 3...........the square root of 4 is 2...............................but 1/2 is bigger than 1/4.........................it is easy to see why 1/4 is the term on the right............b/c............just plug in zeros to find the axis intercepts........................1/2 squared is 1/4................for either x and y.........a circle is sym.............in that all points are equidistant from the center.....................


Pythagoras

Pythagoras' Theorem says that for a right angled triangle, the square of the long side equals the sum of the squares of the other two sides:
x2 + y2 = 12
But 12 is just 1, so:
x2 + y2 = 1
(the equation of the unit circle)
Also, since x=cos and y=sin, we get:
(cos(θ))2 + (sin(θ))2 = 1
a useful "identity"
