Adri...........my Pop.................Paul Alexander Ruddell.........is the man on the right in glasses........he was pretty much the only father figure i ever had........................and he was born in Deerfield, Missouri.....not Ft. Scott............but he did grow up in Ft Scott, KS..........served in the USMC during WW2.............was Gen Geiger's personal secretary on Guam...........Ft. Geiger in North Carolina is named after him.............my Pop would tell me that funny story......that in his office in Guam............there were 4 men......Gen Geiger...a 4 star general.........two other Marine generals.......and Private Ruddell...........my maternal grandfather...........he retired as the assistant director of philately...............after 30 years of service in the USPS................

He met my Nana on a blind date in DC.......in the mid 1930s........was married in 1939......April 1.............i always thought it was odd that they got married on April's fools day........the joke seems to be on me................after saving Pres Obama's life..............they humiliate me ...................to return the favor............
