Im not a car engineer.......but what kind of sense does putting the battery directly above the wheel make??  So it can absorb the sledge, muck, mud, grease, rain, etc.....from the roads??  That is exactly why they did it.......they designed them to fail.......it isn't b/c they do not know.....they wanted to make faulty cars.....so people would buy German and Japanese cars...BMWs.....Mercedez B.....Toyota and Honda.......my Honda......had the battery dead center in the engine......far from the wheel...
