The Rose Parade, also known as the Tournament of Roses Parade, is part of "America's New Year Celebration" held in Pasadena, California each year on New Year's Day (or on Monday, January 2 if New Year's Day falls on a Sunday).

The 5.5-mile route through Pasadena turns from Orange Grove onto

Parade. The Rose Parade, a 130 year old tradition brings residents and
visitors together on New Year's Day (unless it falls on a Sunday)
to watch grand floats covered in flowers, massive marching bands that
can exceed 300 members, and equestrian units like the Anheuser-Busch
Budweiser Clydesdales.
