About the whole money for war suspicion i had.....just look at Yankee stadium.....if u own the NY Yankees.........George S....at the time.........you have like 60,000 - 80,000 people at your mercy.....in the stadium.................with a game that lasts 3 hours........................and i know i can just look up the max capacity at the old Yankee stadium.......but the point i am making.....is to understand WHY they might be doing things......like delaying games.......extra inning............extra time......soccer games to penalty kicks...................all those people......not only are going to buy stuff.....during regular time......but as time goes on.............biology kicks in...............as in you can eat lunch......and be satisfied for a while.......but sooner or later you will want dinner......the longer u keep them, the more likely they will buy something......esp food.....or maybe the missus gets bored of the game.....and takes junior to the gift store and buys him a hat...while dad is enthralled with the game........

It is a numbers game.....they know math.......and by doing that long enough and in enough sports leagues........we have 4 major sports in the USA......and a ton of others are played here as well.......and considering world wide....maybe not everyone will buy a ton of stuff.....but it would not matter.....all they need is enough...................as in..............cold calling.......u do not need everyone to buy your insurance policy.....but as long as enough people do.............just extending the game......an extra ten minutes....with 80,000 people watching a close game.....................also....u know that usually when one team blows out another..........people start leaving........more people will stay in a close game.......a game had to have been close most of it....for it to go to extra time.....tons of soccer games.......in world cup play..........go to penalty kicks.....or at least extra times......many finals have....recent finals as well......................

It is a sheer numbers game.....i bet it is not only across sports leagues here in the United States.....but in Fifa.........and other places as well......................biology and psychology both kick in.......as in hey junior....u had better grab something now.....b/c after the game is over.....it will take us a while for us to even get out of the parking lot.....
