What i am getting at...................is that i think that they are deliberately extending the game...........TV time outs.......................for both advertising and concessions........ensuring the coaches take timeouts............even though it might be apparent that you are going to lose.......................................u have 100,000 people at your disposal so to write.........and the TV viewing audience........here in the states and abroad..................NBA games,.................MLB games................NFL games are televised in other countries...............u might as well try to take even more money out of them.....................

The NBA has TV timeouts.....during a dead ball situation.................anytime a teams scores.......the clock stops............for a brief moment the ball is dead.......until the team that did not score inbounds the ball..........................and without either team calling a timeout............there are set TV timeouts.....................advertising........which pay the TV network and maybe the NBA money to run their ads...........i am not sure of the exact breakdown...................................i was surprised when i learned that their were television timeouts...........more ads.................longer viewing time.........

After all.........if you are in the business to do business.........u might as well do that very thing...................80,000 to 100,000 people are a lot of hungry dudes and dudettes.....................












15 minutes for half time.........u might get there early...................................but after 3 + hours or so.........depending on you, your family, friends..........as to when u actually get there............but human nature..........after sitting there for 3 + hours.............and KNOWING that it will take a WHILE for 100,000 people to get out of the parking lot..............and on the roads and back home..........there is always a cluster after games........or concerts..................u naturally buy more drinks and food for yourself and your kids...........b/c it takes a while to get back home...........

Things are not cheap at ballparks,............movies.............amusement parks..........b/c they know human nature.............and that after making an effort to get there..........u are not going to leave right then and there b/c u are hungry...............so you are forced to buy something........
