Across the street from the north and south towers..the heat made it fall..

World Trade Center 7 (WTC 7), also known as Building 7, was located across Vesey Street from the main World Trade Center complex. 

Specifically, the North Tower (WTC 1) was 89 meters (approximately 292 feet) away from WTC 7 at the closest point. 

While not directly connected by an underground structure or within the same "superblock," an elevated walkway spanning Vesey Street connected the building to the WTC plaza. Debris from the collapse of the North Tower caused significant damage and ignited fires in WTC 7.
