After this event, Pres. Carter was seen as an idiot.........but it is not the President's responsiblity to carry out military activies.........his generals are supposed to.......he or she, the Pres., just gives the order...........i think they set him up..........the Gop did the same to JKF in the Bay of Pigs in Cuba...........when that didn't fully ruin JFK, they killed him...........
