One thing.........is the college experience.........u have a bunch of 18 year olds away from mommie and daddy for the 1st time..........i was 22 when i went to JMU................they want to party...........have sex............etc..........and most people do not take their education seriously..........they are only there for the degree...........which they need to get a job............and the college experience........sorrity row............parties, etc........

Ice Cube in this movie tells the track star that he himself is more interested in learning something than getting a certain grade.......................most people are not.......

Ice Cube is an interesting fellow...............also look at two pieces of info........both facts............worldwide the USA has by far the best college and university system......and believe me i am not bragging b/c i was born in this vile place.............but, of the industrialized countries............our high school system........is dead last...........or close to it..............but the trick to remember or know ..........is the public high schools............private high schools offer good education........it is that the 1% send their kids to private schools.........and then to college...............the cost of tuition and room and board themselves are enough to weed out everyone else.........of course some make it b/c of grants or perseverance............but it is very difficult.......

This 90s movie has a lot of what is going on now..........

College.......higher education.............the grade curve and the college experience.......
