Russia has an interesting history to it.............the Rus of the Volga river valley..........that Ibn Fadlan met..................around 900 AD...................they have had excellent chemists, mathematicians......physicists............playwrights (Anton Chekov)..........authors (A. Pushkin, who was half black), chess players...................composers............Tsychosky (sp?)........and architects.............stone masons.............architecture..............


The Soviet Union did not even last a century....................its language was Russian...........the anthem of the USSR is the same as that of Russia now....................what really was the USSR.???  Russian imperialism that they just called communism...........

MOSCOW (AP) — A Russian court on Sunday charged two men in the killing of leading opposition figure Boris Nemtsov and ordered three other suspects to remain in jail pending a decision on whether to file charges.
