Take just Guatemala..............which has a coast on both oceans...........El Salvador only has access to the Pacific ocean...........i bet they did that on purpose by the way.................those countries, back in the 1800s............were all one single country.............the Republic of Central America..........Guatemala City........now the cap. of Guatemala...........was the capital of the Republic of Central America....................for like 15 years.........then San Salvador........now the capital of El Salvador..............was the capital of the Republic of Central America for two years.........then that one country...........became all the other countries............political boundaries are arbitrary.......u can draw them how u like......................the countries that the Rep. of C. America split into are basically the same now as back then.................but somewhat different.........
