For my 1st 4th of July when I was stationed at MCAS Yuma.............I went here............with two fellow Marines.................Mauricio.....................who was from Mexico and Brigham.........a white man.................................this is on the Sea of Cortez.........

Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point, is a Mexican fishing and resort city on the Gulf of California. It’s known for dune-backed Sandy Beach and Bahía la Choya’s tidal pools. Turtles and seals are on show at the Cet Mar Aquarium. The nearby Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans has a fin-whale skeleton. Northwest, El Pinacate y Gran Desierto de Altar Biosphere Reserve features volcanic and desert terrain.
