I broke it down...........like log tables..........................................5/4 * 5/4 is akin to multiplying 125 and 125..............................25/16 is 1 and 9/16............but u can further break it up.................it is 1, 1/2 and 1/16.............................there are 8/16 is the same as 1/2.........with 1/16 left over..............so u know the 2nd number from the left will be a 5...........b/c 1/2 = 0.5.................so the answer........will start out 15...........................and whatever 1/16 is.............which u still need a calculator for.......u could do it long hand........it just takes up more time..................I am trying to figure a faster way........by adding fractions...................strangely enough........the way they treat us in grade school.......in long multiplication.........u start at the least imp. number...........the one on the right.........the left most # is the most imp....................it has the most value............................................

So...........25/16...........breaks down..........to a 1................a 1/2...........so u know it starts out 15...........and 1/16.............................15625........................just adjust for the decimals......
