Bruce Kellie Williams.....................my father .......per my birth certificate...........was born in Iowa...........early May.............1942 I think.........or 1941..........anyways..................he was stationed here..........when he met Sandra Kay Ruddell...........she lived in College Park, MD..............they met at a USO dance..........he was drafted into the US Army....................during the Vietnam era.............and was in Army intel...................he had gone to UC Berkley.........and had two bachelors degrees.......one in music and one in art history............................

Bruce never went "in country".............as they called it........never did a tour in Vietnam........I bet Paul Chamberlain got him out of it............how they met I do not know..........Bruce was very much into antiques.............so maybe like that...........and my mother Sandra very much into art..........still is........both are I guess...............my point being..........for someone NOT to go to Vietnam during that time...............AND be in the military........usually meant that they had friends in high places..........Bruce told me he was in logistics............................numbers...........numbers of tanks and armaments to be sent to Vietnam.........he worked in logistics in American Airlines...................the corporation headquartered in Dallas, Texas.........which is why he is there now.........he worked for American for like 20 years and retired.............................for American Airlines......he did math..........computed stuff like how much fuel was to be put in the airplane..........he told me they always put more than they needed to make it to another city...........b/c the thing might have to taxi in the sky or something...........................he did that when he lived in San Franciso area..............they transferred him to DFW..........Dallas Ft Worth............b/c that is the hub for American..........he did flight reservations there....................I visited his office along with David Kellie.........one when we went to visit him during the 1980s.............
