This Date in Native History: On October 5, 1813, Shawnee Chief Tecumseh was killed at the Battle of the Thames, just north of the U.S.-Canada border. Born in Ohio in 1768, Tecumseh survived five invasions from neighboring tribes or U.S. forces by the time he was 14.Oct 5, 2013

Wilson Blvd is a more prominent street than Woodrow street............................therefore they put Wilson above Woodrow......for that intersection.....................interesting...........b/c our President during WW1............was Woodrow Wilson..............entombed in the nave of the National Cathedral..........on Wisconsin ave just across the river.......u can see the cathedral all over DC.......from various points...just as u can see the US Capital building and the Wash monument..............the US Capital and National C........are visible from many places b/c both are fairly large buildings and they are both on a hill................
