The Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center's (DCVAMC) Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC) exemplifies the Medical Center's commitment to providing excellent care and services in an environment of compassion that respects homeless and at-risk Veterans.
The CRRC is the first of its kind in the Washington DC area and is open seven day a week to combat homelessness among Veterans. It is one of 31 VA Community Resource and Referral Centers located across the nation. These facilities centralize federal and local partners to provide services to homeless and at-risk Veterans.
Although not a shelter, the CRRC provides services to assist Veterans which include a computer lab ,laundry, showers, social work services and a host of community services
