How did I arrive at the square root of 2??  Well........................the two axis...............a for the longer one, b for the shorter one...........................square them...........take the difference.........and the square root of that...............................................1.73 squared, I rounded again....................is 3..........after all it is close to the square root of 3.........which squared is 3 of course...............minus one.........the length of the smaller side.................1 squared is still one................3 - 1 = 2..............the square root of 2.............
