I crudely outlined the ellipse in green........like I did yesterday.....................so where would the tip of ellipse be.................the same as the tip of the equil. triangle..................the same as either of the two 30/60 right triangles would be........like the one at left.......................u could use the P theorem to find the length of the left side...........................
