Before the invasion in 1979,,,,,,,,,the Soviets knew that Afghanastan had a large amount of iron ore............silicon valley, CA...........get it?  Mexicalli, Mexico,,,,,,local gangs getting iron ore........gt it?    Afghanastan also has the largest amount of opium.........remember the opium wars........there were two................teh British in one and then the British adn the Dutch fought China over drugs...........




Look at the timing of the Soviet invasion of Afghanstan...........1979.............the eniac, 1st electronic computer, in the 1950s.................Dos was developed in the 1970s................after teh many explorations, invasions, conquests in human history.........people kept maps adn info of areas.......for instance,,,..........Tavernier of the Hope diamond fame, knew that there were emerald mines in Columbia, adn diamond mines in Peru, even though the Frenchman never came to the Americas.................................
