A radius is one half the diameter...........1/2.............................................with a radius of 1/2...........full circle...........would be pi................................or put in other words..........the circumference of a circle.......with a radius = 1/2...........would be exactly pi.............the area of a circle........with a radius of 1..............as in the unit circle..............would be exactly pi............a radius is one half the diameter..........see the pattern?  It is between the numbers themselves and the processes...........and the parts of the geometry............................

Diameter is the ratio of the circumference of the circle to the irrational constant 'pi' (3.1415...). Radius is the half of the diameter. Actually pi is defined to be the ratio of the circumference of the circle to the diameter of the circle. Therefore, you can solve for the diameter from that equation.Oct 1, 2016
