I was reminded of the importance of this Latin phrase today b/c the 13 minute film at the us capital visitor's center is named that..............about the spirit of the USA..........as in from many.........one, as in  many different types of people...........many different types of people means Latinos, Koreans, Pakistanis, gays, bisexuals, mr population, women, kids, the elderly, the deaf, the blind, etc............

The film talked about the importance of that notion in American culture and history, but it is not unique to the people here in the US as it is the case world wide.........even before 1776, to me more correctly the date of the USA is 1775........but that is splitting hairs a little much, no matter where on earth u go.........Argentina.......whose people are a good bit German and Italian, as well as Spaniard.........the Indians who were there, blacks,,,,,and many others.........it is the same all over...............
