He was very knowledable..........................he showed us a pic of the view from the north tower of the SI..............i had looked at the pics.............there is a set from 1863..................and one from the early 2000s...............he told us something i had not noticed before......................Constitution ave.........in 1863.......................was actually a canal.........u can see the foot bridges clearly from the pic..........................cool stuff........

The young man was very suprised when i asked him what happened to the pendulum where the Star Spangled banner used to hang...........i told him i saw that thing as a kid.......he told us they removed it when they moved the flag..............
