I do not need to measure.............if u make a circle.....with a radius of 1........and center it at 1/2........on the X axis.....in cartesian coordinates.......(1/2, 0).....the other circle's center would be.........(-1/2, 0)..........it would have to be one unit to the Y axis........a circle is a point.....and a radius.........around it........so.....where it would hit the Y axis HAS to be one from the point.........(1/2, 0).............that point is 1/2 from the origin...................u just make a right triangle whose base is 1/2 and whose hypotenuses....is 1...................the side u do not know......is from the origin up to that point where the circle crosses the Y axis.........from the P theorem..........it would be..............a squared........a being the missing side...........so......a squared + 1/2 squared = 1 squared..............a squared + 1/4......= 1........a squared..................= 3/4......take the square root of 3/4....which is the square root of 3 over 2.......the square root of 4 is 2......
