We both knew Leon.....from Baltimore.........whose Okinawian girlfriend called Reon.....b/c the Japanese have a difficult time pronouncing the R and L.....in our language......i said......hey, Reon, your girl is looking for you......i answered the phone.....i called him Reon from then on......i knew his real name.......i thought it was cool that he was from Baltimore................

Or the Black man whom i and another Marine shared a bathroom with......in the barracks.........a guy from Atlanta, GA......it was him who asked me why i was going to the library instead of the beach.....i told him b/c i grew up at the beach.......his last name begins with a J................i lent him a cd of mine............by Keith Sweat........Nothing Lasts Forever......................we both worked in Division G1......back in 1990 - 1991........
