Just about all the store owners in Rehoboth Beach knew Dave and I, via our grandparents................i also knew the owner of Ryan's Gems and Junk, the next store towards the boardwalk on Rehoboth ave..................................Ms. Ryan...........she was one of my grandmother's girlfriends........she even gave me a broom b/c i would sweep up and maintain the property and thought me a good worker....

My grandparents were the ones that put the 2nd story on the mall..........me and Dave put one penny each out front of the mall..........each with our birth years..............they were still there when i took my daughter there, after her 5th grade year....it is at the front of the mall........the one that faces Rehoboth ave........
