I got some academic honors......in Latin....i tied the school's record on the nat. latin exam...i got a 39 out of 40.....they said that since the 1950s....when Gar Field was founded....only one person had done that before....no one had ever got a 40........my teacher.....picked me to be on the Latin Olympic team....we competed against other high schools.....Thuy L....was also on that team....a Vietnamese woman.....................she would give me rides home sometimes.......a white, pick up truck....her father was a landscape worker....in Dale City.....had his own business......cut trees, etc
