After it happened twice...........................they split Germany after WW2.....................someone wants revenge............Erwin Rommel............was a lt.......lieutenant........during WW1.........fought in Italy against the Italians.............he won Germany's highest medal.................their equivalent of our medal of honor...............the German general in command of that theater of combat in Italy........in WW1............challenged any German unit...................company or platoon to take a key hill in Italy...............and whoever did......their officer would be given the German equal of a medal of honor..........Erwin R.........took it.....................and they gave him the medal..........he was in charge of the Bavarian mountain men............or something similar, the name of his company.........a military unit of like 60 - 100 men more or less......................in WW2........he was a field marshal..........the German people even wanted him to take Hitler's place.......during WW2..........as the war had gone bad............

Erwin R..........said he really liked that unit he commanded in WW1........in Italy........the connection??  Ernest Hemingway was an ambulance driver in Italy in WW1............
