The dec. amounts do not go down........uniformly............all the same..............as do the positive integers.......go up................they jump down................I did the below.......how Gauss added up the numbers from 1 to 100.......quickly...........he just added beg to end........worked inwards.........and made pairs of them..........the fund........of the h.s............is 1...........the last number.......1/10......is 0.1............in dec form................so 5 pairs............whose sum is 1.1...............odd that is like 11................5 pairs...............a 5 and a 2..........like 0.25...........inverted.......14i.........1/4 = 0.25............but the estimate is off from the actual sum.................1.1 times 5 is 5.50.........the actual amount is 2.93..................my rough estimate..............is just that..................
