Could something sinister.........be inside the noise walls...............in Virginia...........???  It wouldn't suprise me......


To protect citizens and provide consistency in the application of noise abatement measures, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) adopted a State Noise Abatement Policy (SNAP), based upon Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) noise regulations (23 CFR 772).

The easements and right-of-way required are primarily for construction of new noise walls and the proposed W&OD Trail Bridge over Lee Highway. These improvements are part of VDOT's Transform 66 Inside the Beltway program to move more travelers efficiently through the I-66 corridor during peak periods.
