  • Laura Mezzetti's (housemate) boyfriend, Luca Altieri
  • Romanelli's friend Paolo Grande
  • Postal Police officers, who were initially called to the scene after Romanelli's phones were found in a nearby garden 
Knox and Sollecito had arrived earlier that morning and called the police. The police were already present when the other housemate and her friends arrived. The police refused to break down Kercher's locked bedroom door, so Luca Altieri kicked it open, and they found Meredith's body on the floor, covered by a duvet
