Rams,
Facing up to the past is the start of healing.
I too was abused. It was enough that I tried to end it.
This is the past.
I compensated by choosing women to "complement" me.
Jean Ann was a straight A student. She was competent in school.
That was about it. Beyond that she knew little about else
but getting As. She did not know how to boil water! Literally!
Joan was not only an A student but was very experienced
in the world. She knew how to cook, Had a masters degree.
One of her professors at Harvard wrote one of the
books I read on human development. As a Jew and a New
Yorker she had a very different background. She was
compassionate. I learned from our Jewish friends that
discussion was encouraged. I went from being wallpaper
to holding my own in discussions. Discussion was not
something mom could handle.
I can go on and on.
But I am only sharing a little to show how I limped
into life beyond my family.
From what Dave said about your blog, you
are teaching about love. Actually, this is a
start. One day you may be able to love.
However, I would not expect "perfection".
I feel profoundly limited in a number of ways
due to my upbringing.
I encourage you to teach love to as many people
as will listen.
Hopefully in time you will accept the Ruddell
family as a collection of diverse people.

Actually, 128 pounds is very unhealthy for a 41 year old man who is 5'7", if you dont believe me, look it up. What is more, i was poisoned and tortured. It was just more torture, growing up in the backwards Ruddell family was torture in itself. On Fri, Jan 24, 2014 at 8:56 AM, Jim Ruddell <techies@flash.net> wrote:Rams, actually 128 is probably a good weight for you. However, you could lose about 8 more pounds. And it's all above your shoulders! But I guess that would mean using what is aboveyour shoulders!Repeating does not use much energy. But as a know it all, I guess you already knew that.I still like your skinny (and healthy) self.Do they make skinny Buddhas?
