After WW2................the victors took the spoils................and divided Germany.............the Soviet Union took the East.............which is where the capital is.............Berlin............the USA took the West...........the bigger part......................the world, already mad at Hitler, Japan, Mussolini's Italy..........looked on in horror at the concentration camps..............Nazi experiments, etc.....................a lot happened which is not mentioned in the news.............for one.........the Soviet Union and the Americans had unimpeded access to Nazi lore.................experiments.............rocketry........the enigma machine...........Nazi gold etc..........................also, they said that they were never going to allow Germany to be reunited again............well, it is now.............but only after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1989....................the reason was was that Germany was one of the main reasons for WW1.................and WW2...............pro American sentiment was at all time high..............esp......in Europe............women in France openly came out and kissed American soldiers after they freed them from Nazi reign..................but the danger of being too proud came later in Vietnam.............as the Americans thought they could do no wrong............


The Korean civil war happened in the 1950s.............US Pres. Truman.............who became President when FDR passed..........................then he got elected on his own.........the famous Chicago newspaper front page article that had Dewey winning the election..................so the victory in Europe and the Pacific in WW2..................tying the Korean civil war in the 1950s....................the USA was seen as a hero...................so to the Americans entering the Vietnamese civil war..........they probably thought at worst they would tie................the Korean war ended in a tie.................but the Marines, South Koreans and the UN soldiers had to fight 1 million Chinese soldiers......................there is a danger in thinking u can do no wrong.........that is my point....................Sec. of Defense Robert McNamera and the American generals.........admirals.............i am sure thought Vietnam would be easy...........given the size of the country................but they made a huge mistake.............one our own soldiers and the Vietnamese people are still paying for..............agent Orange...........racism............etc..............
