 Grandma Sandy says she remembers Pop's mom but not his dad.  She said she had a dry wit, like Pop, a very British, mid western, do it the right way, no nonsense way, very different than the Southern Barkers, who were always cracking jokes, once i saw the two families and how different they were did i understand why Nana and Pop fought like cats and dogs..

Pop is the man at the bottom, Grandma Sandy was born in 1943, she could not have met Pop's dad, they got married in Kentucky, where Stephen and Abraham were kidnapped by a combined force of British and Shawnee, both had something against the new nation, USA in 1780, Ft Ruddell Kentucky...their dad was Major Ruddell, the commanding officer, who was not there when the force assaulted the fort, killing most of everyone and taking 6 hostage, to Ft Detroit...
