With several latino girlfriends other than my wives, i have been to a number of these, September, lots of food, clothes, music, etc, from what i remember, and i may be wrong, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, etc, almost all Latin Americans, food and music and dancing stood out, over the years i have seen them, dressed up in traditional clothes, folklore..

Sometimes the absence, Spain has a royal family and another country with a particularly strong soccer tradition, with the planet's two top teams, Real Madrid, Royal Madrid, and Barcelona, Copa de Rey, King's Cup..

Spain is featured at Latino celebrations in September primarily because Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15–Oct. 15) acknowledges cultures from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central, and South America, and celebrates the independence days of many Latin American nations from Spain, like Mexico's on Sept. 16 and others starting Sept. 15, with events highlighting Spanish heritage and its influence.
Why Spain is Included
  • Colonial History: Spain colonized most of Latin America, so its language, culture, and history are foundational to these cultures.
  • Independence Days: Hispanic Heritage Month starts September 15th to align with the independence anniversaries of several Central American countries (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua) and Mexico (Sept. 16), all from Spanish rule.
  • Cultural Roots: The observance recognizes the contributions and histories of people with roots in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central & South America, encompassing Spanish-speaking cultures.
