Trieste, Thrace, Turkey, where will the bombs go off next?
"Thrace" (or "Thracia") refers to an ancient and modern geographic region in Southeast Europe, encompassing parts of present-day Greece (Western Thrace), Bulgaria (Bulgarian Thrace), and European Turkey (East Thrace), known historically for its horse-warrior people, the Thracians, who were influenced by and often interacted with ancient Greece, with Thrace being a significant area in Greek myth (home of Orpheus) and history, eventually becoming a Roman province.
