Supposedly they put it at 10 years..........so she or he would last several presidential administrations.........checks and balances and so anyone could be investigated...................the spirit of that is that no one is above the law..........even the president can be investigated..............and impeached.........all that is to ensure that people will be honest and not take advantage of their power.........which they only have........to use wisely......................to me it is an abuse of the system for a president to fire an FBI director, it should be left to Congress, which is a committee...........where the differences of opinions equal each other better, any one person can opinionate or do anything...................................but the spirit of the law does not always match the letter of law..........esp. with someone with an ego like Donald Trump........................anyone putting a T on top of their tower in NYC has an ego problem..........
