My maternal grandparents...................owned this house........which they sold to buy the one on Stratford Lane in Alexandria, Virginia.....................in the mid 1990s...................my "mother" lived here when she went to Northwestern high school..........in Hyattsville, MD.........

Dave and I would stay here with our grandparents..............we would stay the weekends here often..........when they visited DC and took us to the museums.......or to see the National geographic slide show.........at Constitution hall on Friday nights.............in the cold months.........they had a seasonal subscription.............we would park on the Ellipse, just south of the white house.......and walk to Constitution hall.............this after being in Junior high all day long.........it was always on Friday nights...............
